The Quotes page is organised by trade, with packages acting as your primary folders. This page allows you to view, edit, download, and delete all your quote data in one place.
Take a quick interactive tour
Find your packages in the sidebar
Your packages are listed down the left of the page. Click the arrows to expand or collapse a package and see the quotes inside it. Select a package to filter the table to just its quotes, or select All quotes to see everything in one list.

Sort and read the quote table
Quotes sit in a table you can sort. Select any column heading (Company, File, Package, Uploaded, or Price) to sort your view.
Sorting by Price is handy when you’re comparing a package. Quotes with no price are grouped together at the top or bottom depending on the sort direction, so you can quickly spot which ones still need details updated.
Quotes submitted via the e1 platform will automatically come through in their invited package with details completed. Quotes submitted via email will need to be manually assigned to a package and updated with the subcontractor’s details.

Manually uploading and assigning quotes
- Drag and drop:The quickest way to get quotes in is to drag and drop one or more files straight onto a package in the sidebar. They’re assigned to that package automatically.
- Manual assignment: Drop files onto the main table to add them unassigned. Use the package dropdown on the quote’s row to assign it later.
- Reassigning: Use the same package dropdown on any quote row to move it between packages.

Add, view and edit quote details
- Click ‘Add Details’ on a quote row to fill in the quote and subcontractor information, and click ‘Save Details’ when you’re done.
- When you add details to a quote you uploaded directly on the Quotes page, E1 may suggest a price read from the quote document. Accept the suggestion to use that figure, or reject it to enter the price yourself. You will need to accept or reject the suggestion before you can save the details. If no suggestion appears, fill in the price as you normally would.
- Once details are added, click anywhere on the quote row to view the details, quote history and add or view any notes.
- Click the three dot menu to view, download, revise or delete the quote.

Analyse your quotes
When you’re ready to compare, click ‘Analyse Quotes’ on a package in the sidebar.
Quote Analysis helps you make informed decisions as your quotes fill up, comparing and assessing them side by side.
You can run the analysis with or without a BoQ (Bill of Quantities). Adding an optional BoQ lets you evaluate quotes against your project’s scope. Add it in the analysis setup, or skip it and run the analysis on the quotes alone.
As new quotes arrive on a package, click Re-analyse to run a fresh analysis with the latest figures.

Download quotes
You can download all quotes in one zip file against a package via the three dot menu at the top of the quote table, or individually via the three dot menu on each quote line.
Quotes FAQ
How do I access my quotes?
All your quotes live on the Quotes page, organised by package. Quotes submitted through E1 arrive automatically in their invited package with details completed. Quotes sent by email need to be uploaded and assigned to a package.
How do I upload a quote?
Drag and drop one or more files onto a package in the sidebar to upload and assign them automatically, or drop them onto the main table and assign a package from the quote row. (See "Manually uploading and assigning quotes" in the article.)
How do I revise a quote?
Open the three-dot menu on the quote row and select Revise. Revising opens a blank quote for you to populate, so a history of previous versions is kept.
Can I delete a quote?
Yes. Open the three-dot menu on the quote row and select Delete.
Why am I asked to accept or reject a price?
When you upload a quote directly on the Quotes page, E1 may read a price from the document and suggest it in the Add Details slider. Accept it to use that figure, or reject it and enter your own. The prompt only appears when a suggestion is available; otherwise the form works exactly as it does now.
